Identify the various water resources on earth.   Water Resources – Conservation and Protection Water Resources: In the air On the surface Below the ground Explanation: Water can be found in the air. The air in the atmosphere contains varying amount of water vapor depending on the weather. This air is part of the water cycle which is considered a natural process of the earth. Loosely put, water evaporates out of the different bodies of water. It is carried up into the atmosphere, where it is collected as clouds or water vapor buildups. As the clouds reach the saturation point, water droplets will form, which come as rain. This rain runs off the land and collects into bodies of water, where the whole process begins repeatedly. Water can also be found on the surface of the earth. Only 4% of the water stays on the earth's surface. Surface waters include aquifers, lakes, ponds, reservoirs, rivers, streams and wetlands or the blue waters which hold only about .3% of the Earth...
