Explanation:

The net effect of successful external intrusions was that individual communities ceased to be masters in their own ancestral lands and of their own lives; they had lost their self-determination. How do they feel about this?

They feel so sad, helpless, and angry with those intruders. Indigenous people are true owners of the land in Mindanao, they stop and waved their rights because they have nothing to do with the intruders. If they fight with them, they ended up nothing in the hands of the rich intruders. External intrusions usually happened to those helpless and poor people because they do not have resources and other thing to protect themselves from bad people. Force taking of land has been an issue in Mindanao and some other parts of the Philippines. We heard and see news on television regarding the massacre and other heinous crime because of illegally confiscated land and other personal things.

It is so sad to think about these things that people who were victims of external intrusion are enslaved and workers of their own properties. It is supposed not to happened, it should not be like this and the government should recognize the legitimate owner of the land or any properties. The government should do anything to preserve and uphold the rights of every individual and must be protected against intruders.
